International Swimming Competition – Overpelt ZV – 18th, 19th and 20th September 2015
We are delighted to have been invited again to attend the above event.
The weekend and the competition is a whole team event. All are welcome to attend.
Points are awarded to the respective Club for the top 6 in each event in each birth year. Top 3 winners receive medals! All points are totalled up and at the end of the weekend, the top 3 club winners are awarded cash prizes!
This year OZV will once again be able to organise accommodation for us. For those who have not been before details of the type of accommodation provided are available by asking a member of the committee. Although the accommodation is fairly basic it is perfectly adequate for a large group of people to stay for a couple of nights.
The cost will be approximately £150.00 per head for the weekend. This includes the accommodation, transport and food (breakfast and packed lunches on Saturday and Sunday plus an evening meal on Friday and Saturday). This is extremely reasonable and excellent value for money.
The following are required by all travelling:
- Current passport
- European Health Insurance Card (available from the Post Office or online at their website)
Personal Travel Insurance is recommended but optional and is up to individuals to organise.
Finally, please note that we are not able to take any swimmers under the age of 16 without a parent; swimmers under 18 are able to attend without a parent at the Committee’s discretion only.
This is a great opportunity for our swimmers.
