Qualifying Times: There are no qualifying times. ALL entries must be NOT FASTER than the Upper Limit Times stated below

Six lane 25m pool, swim down pool, electronic timing with scoreboard.
Thurrock Swimming Club and Runnymede Swimming Club are affiliated to ASA East Region.
The meet will be held under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules. The meet is licensed at level 3 and held under license number 3ER2335
Ages as at 2nd December 2012.
Age groups 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15+
Closing date for entries is midnight Wednesday 7th November 2012
Entries falling within the qualifying times will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs reserve the right to close the meet or individual events within the meet earlier than the specified closing date.
All entries must include Date of Birth and ASA Registration Number details. Club entries should be submitted using the Sportsystems electronic entry system (download available via www.thurrockswimmingclub.co.uk).
Individual entries may be accepted using individual entry forms also available via the website.
Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs reserve the right to reject any entry without giving a reason. The submission of entries either electronically or by entry form indicates acceptance of the Meet Rules.
Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs reserve the right to alter the entry closing deadline.
All entries using the electronic system do not have to send entry forms.

Will be accepted time permitting but will not be entered into the results.
Entry fees are £5.00 per event.
Events will be seeded, by time. All events will be swum on a heat declared winner basis. It is the responsibility of the swimmer to report to the stewarding area in sufficient time for each event. Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs will not be held responsible for any swimmer missing the start of their particular heat.
Awards & Results
Awards will be made to the first six placed swimmers in each age group and medals can be collected from the medal table after the results of that event are published. No medals will be posted.
Full results will be available on both club’s websites after the event. Results will also be passed onto the ASA for inclusion in the rankings.
Swimmers and coaches must ensure that they take no action that would endanger themselves or others.
Swimmers should swim in the direction indicated by the lane direction cards. Swimmers must swim in their appropriate warm up. Sprint lanes will be announced.
A swim down pool will be available for use throughout the duration of the event and swimmers using this facility must be supervised. The instructions of the pool lifeguard and/or Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs’ Meet Management Staff must be followed at all times.
Thurrock and Runnymede Swimming Clubs reserve the right to close this facility if it is abused.
It is the responsibility of the competitor, coaches and clubs to ensure that all swimmers are competent to the standard of the ASA competitive start award to perform a shallow racing dive into the water. Swimmers are permitted to start in the water for all events, but must advise the referee of this prior to the start of their heat.
In the event of a false start, the swimmer must make a safe entry.
The competition will operate over the top starts throughout, with the exception of the backstroke events.
Safety & Security
Everyone is to familiarise themselves with the emergency exits which must be kept clear at all times. Anyone observing anything they consider to be a safety hazard must report this to the Meet Director or one of the organisers.
The pool depth at the starting end is 0.9m. The distance between the top of the diving block and the water level is 760mm.
Competitors and spectators must not leave their belongings unattended. Neither TSC, RSC nor the pool management will be held responsible for the loss of any property.
Only officials and coaches/team mangers who have purchased official passes will be allowed on poolside.
In line with the recommendation in the ASA Child Protection Policy, the promoters of this event request that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom, or close range photography (including camera phones) must register their details with the information desk. This is situated at the table at the entrance to the spectator’s gallery.
The promoters and the pool management reserve the right to remove any swimmer or spectator from the pool area whose behaviour is either against pool rules or is affecting the running of the meet. Anyone found causing damage or misbehaving will be banned from the meet.
A Cafe selling hot and cold food will be in operation throughout this event.
Entries will be entered onto a computer. By submitting entries, consent is given under the data protection act 1984 to holding of personal information.
Any situation arising not covered by these conditions will be determined by the Event Organisers Corrine Williams (Thurrock) and Andrea Prophet (Runnymede).

800m – Girls must be 11 or over, 1500m – Boys must be 12 or over. Please note: Entries to these events will be restricted to a maximum of 2 heats each and will be on a strictly first come first served basis.
9 year old girls and 9 & 10 year old boys are not eligible for 100m events, except the 100 IM
Warm up: Mixed boys/girls 9/11, mixed 12/14, mixed 13+
All events are Heat Declared Winners. Winners medals can be collected as soon as official results are published and will be given to the top 6 in each group. No medals will be posted after the event.
Coaches are asked to ensure swimmers leave water by the side and do not climb over the timing pads.
Age of swimmers will be as of 2 December 2012
